Lake Home Builder
New lake homes and whole-home lake remodels across the Flathead Valley and Northwest Montana, planned around the water, the weather and the people who will fill them.
A Lake House Has A Different Job
A house on the water works harder than a house in town. It takes wet feet and lake days all summer, a heavy snow load all winter, and more guests than any floor plan on paper expects. We plan lake homes around that job from the first conversation, and we start with the lot itself: access, utilities, septic feasibility, terrain, views and covenants, the same land and site review that opens every project we build.
Our Montana Lakefront Luxury Retreat is the clearest example. It was built for company, with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a bunkroom, a bear room and a guest getaway of its own, in 2,600 square feet of living space with a 1,600 square foot garage. Polished concrete floors and metal wainscoting stand up to lake days, vaulted wood ceilings and wood trim warm the great room, and the exterior is fire resistant metal, made for a Montana winter and a Montana summer alike. A path leads down to the water.

When The Lake House Already Exists
Not every lake project starts with bare ground. On Flathead Lake we took a well-loved home and remade it inside and out: a second story luxury addition over an expanded garage, with a wall of windows facing the grounds; a patio and pool with a barbecue and a custom outdoor spa; Flathead cobblestone sidewalks; and bathrooms finished in onyx stone and travertine with Kohler fixtures. It is a six bedroom, five bathroom lake home now.
If your place on the water no longer fits the way your family uses it, you do not have to move. An addition or a whole-home remodel keeps the shoreline you already love and gives you the house it deserves.

River Frontage Counts Too
The same thinking holds on a riverbank. For River Frontage Montana Style we turned the whole living space toward the current, built a window wall that puts the river in the room with you, and carried the living room out onto a riverview patio. Cedar and metal siding give it a look that belongs on a Montana riverbank.

Bigfork and Lakeside sit on Flathead Lake, and Polson sits at its southern end in Lake County. All three are inside the area we serve, along with Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Eureka. Every lake project follows our two-phase process: pre-construction planning first, so the lot, the design, the budget and the permits are settled on paper, then construction, with our superintendent on site and the owners directly involved because we limit how many projects we take on.
Still looking at lots? Our guide to what to check before you buy land covers lakeshore and floodplain questions along with access, septic and well.
